SVP Global Ventures Ltd’s initial manufacturing facility comprises of Cotton, Compact, Citra, Blended and Open End Yarn. There are three primarily manufacturing facilities located in close proximity to each other and near major raw material and textile hubs. These facilities are at Ramnad, Coimbatore, and Palani in Tamil Nadu. Facility locations ensure strategic flexibility in operations, working capital requirement optimization and low logistical costs. The total installed capacity of these three units is 98,000 spindles. These manufacturing units make yarns of count ranges 6 to 70. The company employs over 700 people across these plants.

Rajasthan

SVP Global Ventures Ltd. is setting up new yarn manufacturing facilities in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. The facilities are coming up in three units and will employ more than 500 people. In the first unit, a 1,00,000 spindles plant with a manufacturing capacity of 22,000 tonnes per annum has been setup on 25 acres of land. The plant will consume 26,000 tonnes of cotton annually and will produce high quality compact yarn of count 20 to 60. In the second unit, 2,400 rotors with a total capacity of 11,000 tonnes per annum is being setup on 5 acres of Land. This plant will produce yarn of Count range 6 to 24s and is under construction. In the third unit, SVP is setting up a plant with 50,000 spindles and a manufacturing capacity of 11,000 tonnes per annum and is spread over 22 acres of land and is under construction.

Overseas Projects

SVP has planned to set up a state of the art cotton spinning mill with a total production capacity of 13.5 tons/day cotton yarn in Kombolcha (Ethiopia. The plant is designed in a way that it could export 100 % of cotton yarn to the international market. The project will create employment opportunity for locals and unit will enjoy tremendous economies of scale as it will have its entire manufacturing capacity based at one single location. The company has got a total of 50 hectares of land from Kombolcha city.

SVP plans to setup a 7,000 rotor cotton yarn manufacturing plant (“Project”) at Screven County of Georgia. The company has acquired 68 acres of land, which has been surveyed, graded, and is pad ready. The unit will manufacture a range of different counts of carded cotton yarn ranging from 6 to 30, and production will remain flexible in order to meet the market demand. The sales markets for the output yarn will be the free trade areas of Central and South America, as well as China. Screven County, the State of Georgia, and the Georgia Department of Economic Development have provided various incentives and touted this project as an important job-creating venture.
